Created In response to the closure of the Body and Mind: Seen and Unseen exhibition at the National Centre for Craft & Design as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

Please feel free to download a free virtual interactive sculpture park hosting a supersized version of The Vacanti Man Experiment #1. You can explore the work in a virtual space from the comfort and security of your own home.

 

The virtual park also allows for respite from indoor isolation, allowing you to explore a mystical woodland environment rich with exotic flora and swaying trees.

To download and explore the virtual sculpture park please follow these simple steps:

  1. Download the relevant file via links below.

  2. Unzip the folder and save somewhere convenient, like your desktop.

  3. Open the unzipped  folder and double click the Experiment #01 (In Isolation)

  4. Enjoy some time in the great virtual outdoors.

Installation Tips for Windows Users

Please ensure you unzip your files before launching the sculpture park.

When you download the zipped folder, right click on the folder and select "Extract All..."

If you get a "Windows protected your PC" warning, when trying to run the application, click "More info" and click "Run anyway".

This software is completely safe and will not harm your computer.

You can also download a small 3D printable version of the sculpture

via the link below and print on your home 3D printer.

 

If you don't have access to a printer, This can be 3D printed and delivered straight to your door using Shapeways. There are a number of different colour options including a full colour model.
